Rainbow / Continental drift theory

2006, 2007 / Digital Print

I set up a cherry blossom viewing party for families. Later, I made children out of the participating families, together with other kids, to "play house" as if they form families. During the both parties, I moved their picnic mats little by little. Depending on the form of the mats, sizes and characters of both the real and the virtual families varied. Each was like an ongoing flower arrangement. At the end, a big rainbow appeared.
